As a college instructor, I have taught Writing for Electronic Media, Advanced Writing and Editing, Writing for New Media, Professional Communications and Presentations Seminar, Business Writing, Writing in Health and Disease, and Health and Science Writing.

In some of my courses, students run blogs focusing on their majors, which allows them to express the diversity of their knowledge and experience. By combining this approach with innovative assessment systems, I attempt to navigate — and bridge — the contentious divide between expressivism and social constructionism.
